Policymaker Forum
In September last year The Babbage Forum brought together influential global policymakers to discuss the significant effects of recent geopolitical changes on industrial innovation policies. The event provided an exceptional opportunity for mutual learning and progress in industrial innovation policy.
Priority themes
Many industrial innovation policy themes are familiar to experts, however a recent Babbage Forum review provides an international multidisciplinary overview and an opportunity to improve areas of policymaking thought to be of particular challenge and significance, such as:

National reports
During 2022, The Babbage Forum focussed on exploring national practices in industrial innovation policymaking. The work was stimulated by the rapidly evolving industrial, technological and geopolitical landscape and the renewed interest in industrial innovation policy in many countries.
Reports were prepared for the ten member countries, drawing on desk research and interviews with leading policymakers in each country.
