A project for Innovate UK (IUK) and UK Research and Innovation (UKRI)
This project has been comissioned by Innovate UK to provide deeper insights into key emerging manufacturing technology domains where international R&I collaboration has the potential to unlock significant and strategic value capture opportunities for the United Kingdom.
The project team have carried out extensive consultations with key UK innovation and research stakeholders, including the High Value Manufacturing Catapults, the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and various industry bodies.
The study will deliver insights into major international manufacturing R&I strategies, policy drivers and technology roadmaps relevant to the UK advanced manufacturing sector. It will provide Innovate UK with recommendations of R&I interventions and anticipated benefits to the UK advanced manufacturing sector, as well as evidence supporting business case development to secure UKRI Funding.
