Mapping polices for digital transition

A project for the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO)

CIIP supported UNIDO to help prepare the Industrial Development Report (IDR) 2024. The IDR 2024 addresses how to successfully implement policy instruments in a fast-changing global scenario by documenting concrete experiences of industrial policies implemented in different country contexts to deal with today’s major challenges.

The report’s narrative is framed in the context of two global transitions that are transforming the industrialisation landscape: production digitalisation – associated with the innovations of the Fourth Industrial Revolution; and production greening –associated with the urgent need to address climate change and environmental degradation.
